Euthamia graminifolia (Grass-leaved Goldenrod) flaunts flattened flowerheads of bright yellow, beginning in June above bright green grass-like leaves. A striking late-season nectar plant for the prairie or savanna. While it prefers medium to moist soils, it can be very drought tolerant once established. Beloved by pollinators for its late season bloom, it is the larval host of several moths and the seeds are eaten by songbirds.
