Ohio Goldenrod is a medium-tall goldenrod with flat-topped clusters of vivid yellow flowers appearing beginning in August. The lance-like leaves form a basal rosette. It thrives in prairie situations in wet to wet-mesic soils. As with all goldenrods, it is beloved by pollinators and many moths use it as a larval host.
