EMERALD GEM

Title: Emerald Gem   Location: Colorado   This was a pretty steep hike, there was also a crazy thunderstorm that came through when I was fully exposed on the mountain. I had to go back down to the tree line to seek cover and not get struck by lightning. When the storm passed and the clouds opened up I was greeted by a contrasty and saturated landscape with the sun hitting the alpine lake.
