Title: Half Dome   Location: Yosemite National Park, USA   Half Dome is one of the most famous mountains in the USA. Even though it has always been a must see when visiting the park, Yosemite really shot to fame when Alex Honnald’s film Free Solo came out. I took this photo years before the film and ever since them I have been wanting to return to the park to summit Half Dome.   This was my first evening in the park and made it to the viewpoint just in time for sunset. It’s difficult to put into words the expanse of the valley that lies below. I stood there for quite some time after taking the photo, being thankful for the privilege to travel to places like Yosemite.
