We were on our way back to camp when I spotted this cheetah moving through the grass. For some unknown reason the cheetah came right up to the vehicle inspecting it from side to side. We couldn’t figure out why she was so interested in the vehicle, but it gave me the opportunity to get this close up shot of her while being in such close proximity of her.   Her eyes were this deep amber colour and she locked onto my camera for a few seconds, feeling as if she was staring straight into my soul.   These unexpected moments are always welcome, feeling a moment of connection with wild animal can evoke unfamiliar emotions.
