It was one of the first cheetahs that have been successfully reintroduced in the Liwonde National Park by African Parks after they took over management of the park.   This is what conservation is all about, protecting and restoring the natural world and that is exactly why this particular cheetah is so special. It marks a new beginning for the species in the country. It is not only the park that will benefit from these actions, but the country and its people as well, as the park will attract more tourists and in turn means more job creation in and around the park.   Coming back to the photo of the cheetah, yes it might not be the most phenomenal photo, but this cheetahs confidence gives it soul and its very existence in the park is a beacon of hope.
