PEACEFUL FOREST

Title: Peaceful Forest   Location: Ubud, Indonesia   Everything about this photo is peaceful. It makes you want to breathe in the fresh are around you and holds a sense of serenity. This is exactly what I felt at the location, a sense of peace, quiet and tranquillity.   I set out at 4am in the morning to make it to the waterfall before sunrise. I also had never been to the location before and had no idea what to expect. Upon arrival I made my upstream through the lush jungle, with the sound of a powerful waterfall growing ever stronger. I could just see the sky starting to become light through the patches of sky that wasn’t covered by the density of the taller trees. Seeing the waterfall for the first time it took me a second to understand the sheer beauty that was in front of me. There was just enough light to make out the entire scene, granting me enough time decide on where to take the photo from.   I decided to take the photo exactly from where I was standing.
