SAWTOOTH LAST LIGHT
Title: Sawtooth Last Light Location: Idaho, USA The name of this mountain is pretty self-explanatory, they jagged peaks resemble the sharp crooked teeth of a saw blade. The hikes through this mountain range are unbelievably beautiful and I would recommend doing a multi-day hike if you have the time. I slept in a tent up on the mountain for two nights and the first night was not the best time, the wind was howling and the bugs were relentless. The next morning I woke up to a perfect sunrise, I didn’t take any photos, I just swam in the icy lake, read my book and explored the area around the lake. That evening I took out the camera for the first time, this time no wind, less bugs and just me, myself and I. The alpine glow started and I know the reflection of the mountain would be like a mirror of the water. It is one of those moments where you just feel fully in touch with nature, grounded, calm and at peace with where you are. I cherish such moments, they don’t come by very often.
