Italian Line: A souvenir pin tray with a stylized portrait of the ANDREA DORIA and CRISTOFORO COLOMBO flanking a smiling sun. Both ship names appear along the bottom. The pin tray is 3.5" square. On back is stamped the name of the manufacturer, "Verbano". The souvenir would have been sold in the gift shop onboard both ships. You can bet that after the 1956 disaster all remaining pin trays on the COLOMBO were either tossed overboard or into the trash. Excellent condition.
