ANTIGUA, QUIRIGUA & VERAGUA- 1940s United Fruit deck plan

United Fruit Company: A fold-out tissue plan (24" by 36") for the Great White Fleet ships ANTIGUA, QUIRIGUA, and VERAGUA. Although undated, the plan appears to be from the immediate. post-WW2 era. Three decks are shown in large scale with color-coding for cabin type. Two photos show cabins. The opening fold features a portrait of the ANTIGUA with the 3 passenger decks marked off. The ships were part of the six-strong "Mail Boat" class of 1932. Each ship carried one-hundred-plus passengers in First Class only, plus a massive amount of bananas below decks. The vessels survived WW2 only to have their passenger area chopped off in the 1950s to make them strictly freighters.  Excellent condition.
