Moore McCormack Lines: From the onboard service of the BRASIL and ARGENTINA, a 5.5" diameter glass ashtray with the line name and logo. The bright red and Kelly green make a nice combination. I've had several of these over the years and not on a single one does the red "M" line up perfectly within the green compass design. Perhaps an indication of company indifference as business tanked in the 1960s? The attached photo shows a similar ashtray aboard the S.S. BRASIL.Excellent condition.
