CARIBIA: 1928 - Original, large pennant from famous old cruiser liner

Siosa Line: An original pennant from the CARIBIA, Siosa's magnificent old cruise liner that once sailed as the VULCANIA.The pennant measures 32" by 60" and is made of a heavy cloth or canvas. The ship's name is sewn on in blue letters. Sewn onto the canvas binding is a tag for the manufacturer, S.R.L. Serpone of Naples.Oh, to have sailed on the CARIBIA during her cheap-and-cheerful cruise service in the late 1960s and early 1970s! The rates and drinks might have been inexpensive, but much of the VULCANIA's Italian Renaissance decor from the 1920s was still intact. Sadly, an unfortunate meeting with a rock sent her to the breakers in 1973.Very good condition.
