Echinacea 'Mini Belle' - Coneflower

This smaller version of 'Southern Belle' provides a great opportunity to use echinacea where it might otherwise grow too tall, coming in about 1/2 size of the taller plants, it can be used near walkways and in front of borders without having to worry about encroachment. In addition, the hot pink double bloom flowers provide a splendid display of color in the late fall and early summer. With shorter stalks this flower is more likely to remain upright in container plantings. Coneflower, also known as echinacea, is a wonderful perennial native to the U.S. midwest and prairies. It does best in a light loamy soil, but will do well in any well-drained soil. Full sunlight and heat are best for full flowering, while they can tolerate some light shade, we recommend at least 6 hours of full sun each and every day.
