Data Security Policy + Contract Template

This two-part document is a must have for companies that collect any type of sensitive information from their customers or clients.   The Data Security Policy can be used both as an internal document and as an agreement between your company and its employees and vendors.  The Customer Data Security Agreement is appropriate to use in any customer/client facing activities.  These two documents explain the company's internal policies which govern scope, usage, transmission, storage, disposal and consequences of any breach of its proprietary and confidential company data, and its confidential customer data. The documents also outline the responsibilities for data security and management, and covers principles of the company as to ownership, non-disclosure, accountability, authorization and availability of the protected information.
