We weren’t quite sure what the Adtran BSAP-1920 (1700954F1) is when it first arrived at our headquarters. It could have been a warp drive key or an interstellar transcoder for all we knew. What it turned out to be instead was something far greater, far more nefarious than just any sort of convenient device cobbled together from overused science-fiction genre cliches.
