The Sand colorway is a white stoneware clay body that is unglazed on the outside of the form but glazed on the inside of the form with a clear gloss glaze. The clear gloss inside invites more reflectiveness for the light. The clear gloss glaze inside changes the color of the inside compared to the outside in a beautiful but subtle way.
