Oro del Desierto – Hojiblanca (2022 Harvest)

Organic, single-varietal Hojiblanca extra virgin olive oil from Almeria, Spain. This is a more mild yet flavorful EVOO with notes of green tomato leaf, ripe tomato, yellow apple and green banana. Medium bitterness and medium pungency.   This family-run operation recently won a prestigious award for the most sustainable olive farm in Spain.  Oro del Desierto also is a member of the Living Olive Groves Project and is focused on improving biodiversity in its groves.
