The newest and ninth issue of Hey Lady features the Cherokee folk-blues singer, guitarist, and banjo player, Karen Dalton! Dalton (1933-1993) spent most of her life in Texas and Oklahoma before being part of the 1960’s Greenwich Village folk scene. Hey Lady is a quarterly publication with each issue featuring a collection of original art portraying one woman.
