Evelyn Combinations pdf Sewing Pattern

  The Evelyn Combinations are a versatile combination underwear sewing pattern. These turn of the century undergarments offer shoulder-to-knee coverage and a split crotch for convenient bathroom use when wearing long skirts. The Evelyn combinations are princess combinations based on examples from the Edwardian era. This style is most seen in advertising from 1905, although the combined chemise and drawers garment was first worn 40 years prior.   This pattern includes two views: V1 - simple and clean design, perfect for beginners, people in a rush, and those who enjoy a more plain garment without all the bells and whistles (my personal favorite for layering) V2 - just like version 1 but with added details including a pieced lace neckline and ruffle at the hem which add a bit of frill and fun to this garment while also providing more volume and shape.
