A Day With Melba - Needlepoint Kit

On one of my teaching trips years ago, I spent a wonderful day at a shop in California. It is close to where I grew up and the area is full of memories for me. I told the class members about the various people that inspired some of my designs and how I subsequently called the design after the person who was my inspiration. One of the ladies in the class challenged me. “Design a piece named after me,” she said. Well, here you are, Melba… This design is dedicated to making new friends and new memories.
