Tessellations Again - Needlepoint Kit

A Tessellation is a shape that repeats itself to fill a surface without leaving any gaps or overlaps. The name comes from the word tessella—the small tiles used in ancient Roman mosaics. Tessellations Again is a new exploration, second to Tessellations, my first such design. This instruction guide will introduce you to the principals of tessellations and the rules of symmetry. Based on this knowledge you will move into stitching the design. Texture and color are important in this design, and along with the other elements you learned, the design will be both a beautiful addition to your needlepoint gallery, as well as a great learning tool.  Design size: 10.75" x 10.75"
