1940s Sheaffer Balance Lifetime with White Plastic Feed

Name/Type: Sheaffer Balance Manufacture Year: Early 1940s Length: 5 Filling System: Vac-fil; fully restored with new seals Color/Pattern: Marine Green with gold-filled trim Nib Type/Condition and remarks: Two-tone 14K Fine responsive feather touch nib and war time experimental white plastic feed.  In very good condition with no cracks, dents, or chips. There are a couple of light tooth marks on the end of the barrel. Super clear ink view section.  What is super cool about this pen is that it has a seldom seen white plastic feed. Sheaffer developed this plastic feed during war time to help save rubber for the war effort.
