Ever since I started building pedals I've been intrigued - even fascinated - by how MOSFETs can be used in guitar pedals (nerd alert!!!). The second pedal I built was a double SHO, also known as a Super Duper 2-in-1. If you haven't tried one, do it. It's so simple yet so satisfying to slam a cranked up hi-fi signal from one MOSFET boost into another. From then on I've been chasing a MOSFET fuzz design that shares a similar ragged, overblown fuzz tone with a little more versatility. The Eyas MOSFET Fuzz is a wide-range gain solution for those seeking a raw, wild fuzz pedal. From a snarling treble boost to a cutting distortion, from creamy leads to an unwieldy doom fuzz, the Eyas soars above existing definitions and delineations between "overdrive," "distortion," and "fuzz," The Eyas maximizes versatility via three knobs and three switches.
