Bright Indigo Tote

Entirely made by hand in a manner of slow fashion, this bag is composed of ultra soft indigo dyed mudcloth from West Africa, vibrant blue-green linen lining, genuine cowhide vegetable tanned leather and brass hardware. Featuring a double/divided front pocket and two interior pockets with the same indigo fabric as the exterior, contrasting the vibrancy of the linen. Made With Morehart is a bag collection made completely by hand by our founder, featuring handpicked one-of-a-kind mudcloth imported from West Africa. By repurposing this traditional woven material and turning it into a tote, the artisan trade of mudcloth fabric is supported and one of the oldest forms a natural dying (indigo) is preserved.   CARE & CLEANING: Because of the nature of mudcloth, each bag is designed around the uniqueness of each individual cloth.
