This is an original 1722 black and white copper engraving of "Adam Graf von Attimis," Count of the Holy Roman Empire. The family of Attems was a noble family in the country of Friuli. Following the conquest of Friuli by the Venetian Republic, Friedrich Attems moved to Gorizia, becoming the chancellor to the last Count of Gorizia.
