This is an original 1722 black and white copper engraving of "Hannss Preiner Freÿherr zu Stübing," also known as Hans Breuner Freiherr von Stubing. The portrait is surrounded by a wonderful decorative motif mimicking a frame against a wonderfully etched background. It features two lions flanking a cherub at the top of the print and a cascading grape vine design framing the remainder of the portrait, uniting at the bottom of the print at an ornate, broach-like oval frame by two additional cherubs.CONDITIONThis 289+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine.
