1875 Chromolithograph Medieval Manuscript Pattern Border Edge Illumination LOR1

This is a rare original 1875 color chromolithograph that depicts a variety of historic illuminations from Medieval manuscripts during the 13th century. Interestingly, the motifs appear to belong in a transitional period that combines elements of Greco-Roman and Pompeian styles.
