This is an ultra rare original 1883 color print ad for Post's Waterproof Belt Oil from H. K. & F. B. Thurber and Company of New York. The ad features a testimonial from Professor R. Ogden Doremus. This is one of the most rare grocery-related original advertising items we have procured. It is from a rare trade journal printed in original letterpress manner (you can feel the emboss, deboss feel to the letter printed areas of each ad). Images were woodblock prints for most and are amazing. The journal this was removed from only went to grocery owners and industry buyers. A one-of-a-kind item in this condition and size.
