Veining varies from around beard to throughout falls. About 1/4" violet edging.Grows to 36 inches tall and blooms early mid season. Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio.
