Classic Modern Bed (Danish Mid Century Modern Style Bed)

This bed is designed by yours truly and hand-built in Long Beach, CA. The bed can be built from walnut (first two pictures), a combination of jatoba and rosewood (second two pictures), cherry (third picture) or any other type of wood you desire. Though often imitated, the design is my own, inspired by a Mid Century/Danish modern aesthetic. All joinery is mortise and tenon- super strong and will last forever! The bottom of the bed is 8 1/2 inches off the ground, and the top of the headboard is about 39 inches off the ground, and there's about 13 inches from the top of the slats to the bottom of the headboard* (see note below). The total footprint of a queen is about 65" wide and 85" deep. For a king it's about 81" wide and 85" deep. Check out more of my work on instagram @petedeeble.
