RUSTY FLORALS QUILT

Vintage Japanese kimono fabric remnants are hand pieced together to create this unusual quilt with a slightly nostalgic, tropical feel. The kimono fabric is made from a fine, handwoven wool and features a floral or butterfly kasuri (ikat) motif. This quilt is backed with European linen, hand quilted with Japanese sashiko thread and framed with a double-fold bias binding made from contrasting indigo.
