It is a natural crystal point with clean structure and elestiated edges around the top—the richer, darker purple hues are at the tip, with lighter color toward the raw base. This appealing specimen features purple amethyst with the softest hint of citrine within, creating ametrine—it appears when backlit. (As an unpolished piece, it has light abrasions and inclusions, which do not lessen its beauty in my opinion.) This is a natural and appealing specimen that is not polished or shaped in any way.
