BLUE MASTER UK CAL SILK TROUSERS

Introducing our collaboration with Thai artist, Udomsak Krisanamis, Green Monster, Blue Master, based on a collage that he made in the 90s from newspapers he found in Koreatown in New York City, the work has been reinterpreted and digitally printed on silk twill.  Chomwan originally saw the collage on a silkscreen on cardboard work at Udomsak's studio in early 2023. Together, with Udomsak, that collage has been reworked digitally to create a textile print in two colorways. The first, Green Monster with its base of bright turquoise contrasted with a deep maroon first created for ALL IS PRETTIER. a show which our Creative Director, Chomwan,  curated at 100 Tonson Foundation in Bangkok. A new colorway, Blue Master, a bright blue base with vivid red on top inspired by another painting. The digital print is applied to silk which is then cut and sewn into the Cal Silk Trousers and matching Don Silk Shirt.  Our Cal Silk Trousers are inspired by the shape of retro football shorts combine
