Devil's Club Philosophic Spagyric Essence

This Devil's Club Philosophic Spagyric Essence is made from Wild-Harvested Devil's Club. Vintage: 04/15/18. It contains: Rarified Tincture of Devil's Club in Honey Spirits, Essential Oil of Devil's Club, Crystallized Salt of Water-Soluble Fixed Sulfur + Salt of Salt. The biomass was initially harvested and worked on with my friend and apprentice, Kristofer Wolcott deep in the North End of Forest Park, Portland, OR, in 2015. We performed a large Essential Oil distillation on the strip of raw inner bark biomass after processing. The essential oil sat and matured on its own for years. A Tincture of Fresh Biomass was then made in 90% Honey Ethanol and Tinctured for 2 years. After tincturing, the product was then distilled to a pitch, evaporated to a dryness and reconstituted with 100% dried Ethanol to dissolve only the Ethanol Soluble portions. All the salts from the process were calcined. Essential Oil was then added back to the product and digested for 14 days. Then Salts added and digested for a philosophical month. The result is this. Oplopanax horridus is also known as devil's walking stick or Alaskan Ginseng. Our Philosophic Spagyric Essences are made by Performing an Essential Oil Distillation to obtain the Philosophic Sulfur. We then dry our Veg Mercury and extract fresh biomass of the same herb and distill to obtain Philsophic Mercury; the two are added together and then Salt of Salt and Salt of Sulfur are added and circulated until conjoined. Historically, Devil's Club has been used for respiratory and gastrointestinal ailments, rheumatism, arthritis, ritual purification, for its restorative properties, reduce inflammation, lower blood cholesterol levels, cough, psoriasis, balance the body’s response to stress, and as an adaptogen. We make no claims as to the uses or efficacy of this product. There may be an enormous difference between what the herb has historically been used for and how any particular Spagyric Preparation of the herb can be used. We aim to begin using IDF Analysis to provide IDF data of the detected phytochemicals and uses of each of our items of Spagyric Pharmacopoeia.
