Spearmint, Fresh, Philosophic Spagyric Essence

This Philosophic Spagyric Essence of Fresh Spearmint is made with fresh hand-picked organically cultivated Spearmint that has naturalized itself near the compost pile at our facility in North Ogden during a weekend Immersion Study Intensive in 2020. Mentha spicata is also known as garden mint, lamb's mint, Our Lady's mint, spire mint, and sage of Bethlehem. Once picked, the fresh Spearmint was divided into two amounts. The first amount was immediately placed into a 2L Chromatography Reservoir and Steam Distilled within 2 hours of being harvested to yield the isolated Volatile Sulfur [Essential Oil]. After being steam distilled, the Volatile Sulfur [Essential Oil] was then gently aerated to mature the Essential Oil to pique perfection. The second quantity of biomass was immediately tinctured fresh in Organic Cane Ethanol while the Steam Distillation was being set up. After the tincturing process, the biomass was filtered out and the tincture was distilled per Alembic to separate the Volatile Sulfur-Infused Vegetable Mercury [Ethanol Containing the Volatile Oils from the Fresh Biomass] from the Fixed Sulfur. The Fixed Sulfur was then calcined along with the biomass from both the Essential Oil Distillation and the Tincturing Process and then subjected to multiple rounds of Solve et Coagula to produce the Purified Philosophic Salts of Spearmint [includes both Salt of Salt and Salt of Sulfur]. The Volatile Sulfur-Infused Vegetable Mercury [Ethanol Containing the Volatile Oils from the Fresh Biomass] and the Isolated Volatile Sulfur [Essential Oil] then underwent a marriage and then the Purified Philosophic Salts of Spearmint were added to this Essence and left to Macerate until the product changed colors from Clear to Red in order to produce the Philosophic Spagyric Essence of Spearmint. This finished Product DOES NOT contain any of the Phlegm [plant juices] from the Fresh Plant, since all the moisture contained in the fixed sulfur has been calcined and undergone multiple phases of Solve et Coagula, thus evaporating any of the Phlegm and rendering the Fixed Sulfur as a Salt of Sulfur. This product does contain the Philosophic Salts of Spearmint [both the Salt of Sulfur and Salt of Salt], the Mercury of Spearmint [Produced through Maceration and subsequent distillation of an exogenous Ethanol with fresh Biomass to determine the Mercury to Spearmint], and the Volatile Sulfur of Spearmint [in concentrated quantities]. Within the context of Spagyria, this item of Spagyric Pharmacopoeia would be used to address imbalances of Ens Spirituale or Ens Dei, or anytime that mood-enhancing and psychological qualities were desired to be impacted; because it contains a great deal of Volatile Sulfur, it works on the Transpersonal Volatile Sulfur [Higher Soul/Higher Self] of the individual to whom it is administered.  Historically, Spearmint has been used for digestion, flatulence, nausea, cold symptoms, stomach distress, headaches, diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, bug bites, bad breath, gall bladder problems, sore throats, toothaches, as a local pain killer, and as an antispasmodic medication for cramps. In TCM, it has been used to circulate qi, clear heat, to support the lung, stomach, and liver. We make no claims as to the uses or efficacy of this product. There may be an enormous difference between what the herb has historically been used for and how any particular Spagyric Preparation of the herb can be used.
