Spearmint, Fresh, Rarified, Spagyric Tincture
This Rarified Spagyric Tincture of Fresh Spearmint is made with hand-picked organically cultivated Spearmint that has naturalized itself near the compost pile at our facility in North Ogden during a weekend Immersion Study Intensive in 2020. Mentha spicata is also known as garden mint, lamb's mint, Our Lady's mint, spire mint, and sage of Bethlehem. Our Spagyric Tinctures are made with Organic, Ecodynamic, or Wildharvested Biomass and Tinctured with Organic Cane Spirits as our Veg Mercury. Once the tincture was made, we add Spagyric Salt of Salt of the Vegetable Kingdom and digest until reactions have stopped. Once picked, the Spearmint was immediately tinctured in Organic Cane Ethanol. After the tincturing process, the biomass was filtered out and the tincture was distilled per Alembic to separate the Volatile Sulfur-Infused Vegetable Mercury [Ethanol Containing the Volatile Oils from the Fresh Biomass] from the Fixed Sulfur. Then, the Fixed Sulfur was Boiled in Distilled Water to separate out any Water-Soluble Components, after which the product underwent a filtration to separate the Ethanol-Only-Soluble Fixed Sulfur from the Water + Ethanol-Soluble Fixed Sulfur. The Ethanol-Only-Soluble portion was separated out for another demonstration and the Ethanol+Water-Soluble Product was dehydrated back to a pitch and cohobated with the Volatile Sulfur-Infused Vegetable Mercury that was distilled out per Alembic earlier in the process. As with all our Spagyric Products, it has been macerated with a heaping supply of Vegetable Salt [pure 99.8%+ Potassium Carbonate] to ensure maximum iatrochemical reaction and potency. This finished Product is the Ethanol+Water-Soluble Rarified Spagyric Tincture of Fresh Spearmint. It DOES NOT contain any of the Phlegm [plant juices] from the Fresh Plant, since all the moisture has been evaporated out of the Fixed Sulfur. As a result, only the Ethanol+Water-Soluble Fixed Sulfur and the Volatile Sulfur [volatile oils] are contained within the Ethanol. Because the Product was distilled and cohobated, it is of a more piercing nature to the Archaeus [Etheric Body], and contains far fewer crude chemical constituents than either the Fresh or Dried Spagyric Tinctures of Spearmint. Within the context of Spagyria, this item of Spagyric Pharmacopoeia would be considered to be used in instances where the Individual likely has an imbalance of the Archaeus [the Etheric layer of the Multidimensional Anatomy], which sits halfway between the Astral Body AND the Physiological Body. Therefore, when an individual has both Imbalances of both Ens Astrale and Ens Naturale and both the Astral and Physical bodies are desired to be impacted equally, this remedy would be used. It can be thought of as containing half of the energetics of a Spagyric Essence per Destillatio and half of the Energetics of a Spagyric Tincture, though it is neither nor both; It is Rarified. Historically, Spearmint has been used for digestion, flatulence, nausea, cold symptoms, stomach distress, headaches, diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, bug bites, bad breath, gall bladder problems, sore throats, toothaches, as a local pain killer, and as an antispasmodic medication for cramps. In TCM, it has been used to circulate qi, clear heat, to support the lung, stomach, and liver. We make no claims as to the uses or efficacy of this product. There may be an enormous difference between what the herb has historically been used for and how any particular Spagyric Preparation of the herb can be used. We aim to begin using IDF Analysis to provide IDF data of the detected phytochemicals and uses of each of our items of Spagyric Pharmacopoeia. Purchases of this product help to fund this enormous research project.
