St John's Wort, Rarified, Spagyric Tincture (Without Hypericin)

This St John's Wort, Rarified, Spagyric Tincture (Without Hypericin) is made with parts of the St John's Wort plant. Vintage: 07/11/16. Hypericum perforatum is also known as amber, goatweed, hardhay, hyperici herba, klamath weed, or tipton weed. Our Spagyric Tinctures are made with Organic, Ecodynamic, or Wildharvested Biomass and Tinctured with Organic Cane Spirits as our Veg Mercury. Once the tincture was made, we add Spagyric Salt of Salt of the Vegetable Kingdom and digest until reactions have stopped. A Rarified Spagyric Tincture is a Tincture that has purified or removed certain components of the Fixed Sulfur of a plant while keeping certain expressions. Most usually, the Fixed Sulfur is Boiled in Water and Filtered. Both portions are Ethanol Soluble, but it is up to the artist to determine which they like and if there are further purifications necessary after that. This version kept the Ethanol Soluble Version only and discarded the Water-Soluble Hypericin and other 'Red Color'. This Tincture is a Golden Yellow. This was done deliberately as one of the contraindications of St John's Wort is for women on Birth Control. The mechanism by which Hypercin and Hypericine work interfere with the effectiveness of Birth Control. The goal with this product was to make a Spagyric St John's Wort expression that is capable of tonifying the Etheric Body and providing some energetic support to address depression without creating a specific chemical reaction. This product may not be safe for women on birth control. More analysis must definitely be done to determine if this is capable of what it was designed to work on. Historically, St. John's Wort has been used to boost mood, for depression, anxiety, menopause-related symptoms, pms, seasonal affective disorder, smoking cessation, and viral infections. In TCM it is known as Guan Ye Lian Qiao, and has historically been used for carbuncles, snake and bug bites, sores, bleeding due to trauma, urinary tract infections, red eyes, tonsillitis, hemoptysis, hematemesis, muscle aches and pains, headaches, colds and flu, bronchitis, tuberculosis, and eczema. We make no claims as to the uses or efficacy of this product. There may be an enormous difference between what the herb has historically been used for and how any particular Spagyric Preparation of the herb can be used.
