White Willow Bark Spagyric Elixir
This White Willow Bark Spagyric Elixir is made with the bark of the Salix alba species of Willow Tree. Our 'Aurelian' Spagyric Elixir is different than the Junius Definition for an elixir. Elixir comes from the Arabic Al-Ixir [آل إكسير] and means 'from the ash.' Therefore this product is made by using the water-soluble Medicated Salt of Salt that DOES NOT go into suspension while making a Spagyric Tincture. The salts become infused with the herbal medicine, which are then reconstituted with distilled water to a specific pH and preserved with Veg Mercury. Some Historians debate that the Medicinal Effects were found more in these salts than in Tinctures, but our research shows that each has unique actions that are often mutually exclusive. There is a huge amount of potassium in all Elixirs- This is made by creating a typical spagyric tincture of white willow and instead of discarding the spent salts, we add water over the infused salts and a bit of alchohol to preserve it. Historically, White Willow Bark has been used for pain, fevers, headache, low back pain, knee pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and weight loss. In TCM it is known as Liu Shu Pi, and has historically been used for painful urination, joint, throat, mouth and eye inflammations, wounds, ulcerations, eczema, burns, gangrene, headaches, heart and kidney yin deficiency with unrest, insomnia, sexual erethism, spermatorrhea, leucorrhea, low tidal fevers in Shao Yin stage, and slow painful digestion. We make no claims as to the uses or efficacy of this product. There may be an enormous difference between what the herb has historically been used for and how any particular Spagyric Preparation of the herb can be used. We aim to begin using IDF Analysis to provide IDF data of the detected phytochemicals and uses of each of our items of Spagyric Pharmacopoeia. Purchases of this product help to fund this enormous research project. Reference Wong, C. (August 2020).
