1790 Open Pelisse and Regency Dress 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

Around the turn of the century, Romantic and Grecian dress styles that were lighter and simpler than those of past periods became fashionable. Hair styles gentled, stays and petticoats were minimalized, and gowns in plain, subdued colors featured a high waistline just below the bust. This pattern features a 1790s style Pelisse with a front belt closure that sits just below the breast, a sailor collar, and a double box pleat in the back.
