From the princess seaming, or fit-and-flare, silhouette to the double-breasted front opening, this tailored dress coat is genuine in design. Longer than most coats today, it kept girls in dainty dresses warmer. Fur trim was very popular as well as practical. Of course, many different fabrics may be used for the collar & cuffs.
