Amelie Cardigan Knitting Pattern

Amelie is an open-front cardigan with twisted rib details, including a Seven Sisters cable down the center back. Its pieces are knit flat and feature an interesting (but not difficult) construction.  The fronts are made of one long piece that's draped up and around the neck. The back is knit top-down by picking up stitches along the back neck of that piece. A background of reverse stockinette stitch offsets the twisted stitches. Slip stitches form a neat edge on fronts, sleeve cuffs and sweater bottom.  This PDF pattern is designed to fit 18” dolls with an 11” chest circumference.
