Cleopatra's Sandals 18" Doll Shoe Pattern

Exotic scenes of Ancient Egypt inspired these leather sandals, by BramBelles Boutique, designed for 18 inch dolls such as American Girl® and other similar sized dolls. Instructions are given for the plain leather sandals featured. Additional instructions are included for decorating the sandals with pictures and symbols using gel pens or paint, and for beaded decoration echoing the bright colours so loved by the Ancient Egyptians.The design features include:- plaited leather toe strap- wide, high set instep strap- pointed toe- up-curved toe point- optional painted or beaded decoration Recommended Fabrics: Smooth firm leather 1mm (Kangaroo leather was used for the examples) and 2mm leather with a suede surface.
