Erin's Cardigan Variations is an adaptable pattern that can be made for almost any season, with variations for length and sleeve length. It is named for my daughter, who told me that an Erin sweater would be a cardigan with holes in it. While it bears her name, this is not the holey cardigan she was thinking of. This sweater is crocheted from fingering weight yarn, and can be made for any season depending on the fiber you choose and the options you select. The lacy fabric is just right for layering. It is a perfect style to show off those great buttons in your collection. You'll don't have to be an expert crocheter to get good results with this pattern. There are lots of photos of every step and stitch charts of the harder parts included in the PDF pattern. You'll find yourself making lots of these for your 18-inch friends. Recommended Fabrics:  Sock or fingering yarn, any fiber Supplies Needed:Fingering yarnSize D (3.25mm) crochet hook, or whatever size gives you the correct gaugeStit
