Nick's Ribbon Shirt 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

A dear friend of mine has the most beautiful dance regalia. One of the things he wears often for special occasions is his ribbon shirt. I asked if he would mind if I copy it for my boy doll, so here is my version of Nick's Ribbon Shirt. Although my friend only wears the head and knee bands for dancing, I included them in the pattern instructions.Nick's Ribbon Shirt is a fun pattern to embellish so use your imagination. There is so much you can do with ribbons or other trims. Nick's original shirt was a plain blue so no worries about having Native fabric just let the ribbons or whatever trim you use be the decorations. One tester made the shirt in a flowered linen fabric and added lace to the sleeves at the cuffs for a beautiful girl's tunic….it was so cute. So please have fun with this pattern and enjoy!
