Oven Brushs

Oven Brushes are used to clear the floor or deck of your pizza oven from ash and food particles. Pizza Ornate offers natural fiber brushes. Natural fibers are chosen because the bristles will burn up if they fall out of the brush, as opposed to metallic or brass bristles which could become food contaminants. Consequently, natural fiber brushes will wear out over time and are considered a consumable. We recommend misting the brush lightly with water before use to help extend the life of the bristles. A damp brush can also pick up very fine ash and provide a cleaner deck. We offer two types of brushes, a stiff bristle (Tampico fiber) and a soft bristle (palmyra fiber). Brushes can be configured perpendicular or parallel to their handle. They come in the perpendicular configuration, but can be easily be changed with the two included screws (see pictures).  It is recommended to use these brushes in a cold oven. If using in a hot oven, use extreme caution to prevent the brush from catching
