Calathea Helen Kennedy has a striking pattern with a deep contrast between light and dark hues of green across the leaf.  GENERAL CARE Calathea prefer indirect light and watering when the soil begins to feel dry, with a very brief “dry-out” period between watering. Plant in a well-draining potting soil with adequate drainage. As forest floor jungle plants, Calathea grow best in higher humidity, so place near other plants, a humidifier, or in a well-lit bathroom or kitchen with higher moisture in the air.  BONUS: Calathea are considered Pet-Friendly!
