An early, Art Deco era diamond cluster ring, modeled in platinum, whose lightly-domed, oval face holds a bevy of beautifully-matched, old European cut diamonds. These diamonds are very white, vibrant, and clean (G/H, VS)— they are nestled close together (like cobblestones) where they are secured with small, bead-like prongs. Above and below this central cluster of diamonds, a slender, tapering, delineated border set with further old European, and old single cut diamonds— these stones are flanked by fine, graduating, beaded decor. The ring’s shoulders are also encrusted with diamonds. Its slender shank is grooved, and it tapers toward the base. We love this antique ring for its unusual, smaller scale, and for its incredible, sparkling-white presence! The diamonds, here, are of exceptional quality, and the ring's construction is admirably delicate and precise.
