A striking, Edwardian-era, old cut diamond halo ring, modeled in 18k yellow gold and platinum, whose face calls to mind an eight-petaled flower. This ring's central gem is a vibrant, highly-saturated, natural, old mine cut ruby (approx .40 carats). It is held aloft in platinum prongs, where it is surrounded by a series of eight old European cut diamonds— these are held in smooth, platinum bezels. Our diamond petals are white and eye-clean, with the charming irregular sparkle these beloved old, hand-cut diamonds are known for! The ring's fancy, three-way-split shoulders are collared. Its yellow gold shank tapers slightly toward the base.
