Sloan & Co. Enamel Carousel Horses Charm

A dainty vintage carousel charm, made in 14k yellow gold, by the well-known New York jewelers Sloan & Co. This clever little jewel depicts a series of four saddled carousel horses, arranged nose to tail, under a scalloped awning. Each of these miniature equine friends is enameled in a different color— they are green, white, tawny, and black. The horses move around the carousel's center "pole," which is riveted between the awning and the smooth base. The top is also decorated with scalloped decor, and tiny dots. We love the whimsical subject matter, here, the vibrant enamel, and the unusual color pairings! This charm is a real sweetheart, and it has been very well-kept, with minimal losses! It hangs from an oval jump ring. Marked 14k for purity, and with the Sloan and Co. lyre.
