Pre-1870 cards usually did not have corner indices or two-way court cards (the kings, queens, and jacks had legs). It also had square corners - round corners were not introduced until around 1875. It makes a beautiful poster because of the patina of the old, textured heavy stock paper and the clear block printing color method (not perfectly in the lines).
